Stacey J. Bittner is a YA mythic fantasy author and universe architect based in Pennsylvania. He writes stories were ancient forces, glowing artifacts and hidden worlds intersect with the courage of ordinary teens. His debut novel, The Staircase Shaped Door, introduces readers to a portal between Earth and Veraunauth — home of the luminous Moogalytes — and follows two young protagonists pulled into a conflict far bigger than themselves.

Stacey’s storytelling is shaped by emotional depth, worldbuilding, and a fascination with destiny, and the unseen threads that connect people. Part of his determination comes from his family’s experience with Type 1 Diabetes, and a portion book proceeds supports T1D research and awareness.

When he isn’t writing, Stacey is expanding the Staircase Shaped Door Universe, crafting lore, designing cosmic aesthetics, and building immersive experiences for readers who love mythic fantasy with heart.
